After so many years of "Western Movie Famine", finally a riveting, thrilling Western Movie of quality has been brought to the silver screen.Faithfully reproduced in the style of Classic Westerns, regular doses of action, interspers the constantly developing weave of intrigue as the plot swings from one character's advantage of the situation, to the other's - constantly changing as the plot progresses, this Western has all the necessary ingredients to keep all tastes satisfied.
Bravery, honor, gunmen, chase scenes, escapes.... even the psychologica aspect is intriguing in the way that the relationship between the Farmer snd the Outlaw develops as the film progresses; This aspect reminded me of the film "Collateral" (Tom Cruise).By this, i mean that two people who are Enemies in principle, but due to the complex nature of one, or both of the characters involved, a certain blurry region appears, where parst of the character like the other person and an intimate understanding of each other develops, forming a kind of bond between the two. Being friends and at the same time enemies is the resulting status that arises between the two.. showing us that life and human relationships are not so clear cut that one can say that someone is completely enemy or completely ally.
This is an extremely interesting facet of the film to me. I find it very realistic and off the wall for a US Hollywood movie to show complex characters with no clear cut "goodee and baddie".

James Mangold puts himself on the board with this film, hopefully he continues to pump out future classics such as 3:10 to Yuma.
