Slumdog Millionaire is the best Indian movie i have ever seen. The story is about a Bombay street slum child who is one step away from winning the first prize on India's most famous TV gameshow, for answering every single question correctly. Because of the unlikeliness of an uneducated beggar boy being able to know all the answers to all the questions, he is arrested one night before the final round, and subsequently tortured and interrogated to find out how he knew the answers to the difficult questions in the gameshow. This is where Jamal begins to recount the tales and experiences from his childhood right up to the present moment which led to him coincidentally knowing all the answers.



The movie is a masterpiece of biographical fiction, and reveals a multitude of insights into life of untouchables in India. In addition, the film is really a love story which captures your heart and causes you to side with Jamal along the way in his quest to win the heart and hand of his childhood sweetheart throughout the years.
