Jackie Chan is all of these things, a polivalent professional, who has worked his way from the Hong Kong Blockbuster scene (where he still operates and performs), to the Hollywood box office rankings! This has been acheived with simple diligence and dedication to his profession.
Jackie Chan's performing name in Asia is a different one - "Chern Hlong".

Hancock - Will Smith as a dirty superhero

Hancock

Hancock is the latest, bot by no means similar to it's predecessors in the line of "Superhero Movies" that have been popular with film producers and directors in Hollywood. Hancock, however, is not the teetotal goodie-goodie that one normally expects to find in a Superhero; Hancock (played by Will Smith), is a wine guzzling ill-mannered hooligan type of person. The typical dropout with a chip on his shoulder. When Hancockgoes too far after causing billions of dollars of damage to city buildings whilst carelessly flying through them with a carful of thugs that he was swinging around his head, and later topped with the act of physically shoving a thug's head up the rectum of another member of the thug's gang, the media, and public disapprove. This causes the government to move in and lean towards putting Hancock in prison. Hancock finds this funny, as he is able to cut or break through any walls, and even bullets and missiles can't stop him. But his "PR Man" (manager), convinces Hancock to sit in prison until the next major disaster or emergency situation arose, and then get freed by helping. In the meantime, Hancock should practice using good social manners and pull the line by wearing a uniform and working with the government police forces to fight crime.

Needless to say, some of the criminals/baddies in the subsequent plots are portrayed as so disgusting that Hancock gets to behave recklessly as usual in most cases. I found this film pretty genial. Will Smith film is a Will Smith film, ok, but if they weren't any good then why do they sell so many? This is one of the best movies i have watched in about the last 20 or so. I get to see a lot of really good movies, so that means a high ranking for this 'Film" (that's what we call movies in England).
