How the Categories and Topics will be developed on the new Thailand FAQ Portal

The various categories to be found on Thailand FAQ awill begin with just some basic main categories in order to make site navigation simple. As the questions, answers and articles grow in number however, the categories will expand and grow in number accordingly, and the various FAQs will be moved and arranged into their relevant categories. In order to cross reference categories, tags will also be used. So when you submit a question, answer or even a full FAQ (meaning that you write the question AND answer yourself, making it a Wiki type article), you should take this into consideration.

How you should categorise and tag your post;

Lets take an example topic in order to demonstrate how you should categorise the post:- Suppose you are making an FAQ about a Muay Thai festival - you could save the post under either the Sports Ctegory, or even Entertainment (seeing as it is a festival and not a question to do with the sport itself). - Suppose the posed question/title of the FAQ is "When and where is the yearly Wai kroo of Muay Thai celebrated?" - this could then come under the Entertanment section. If you save it under Entertainment then you could tage the post as "muay thai, what's on, Festivals, Events" etc. This will help people who wish to search for Muay Thai, Festivals or other events by using the tags to search with. Alternatively you could save it under the Sport category and tage "entertainment" instead - this is up to you.

Posts are moderated in any case so any serious miscategorisation will be corrected by the Moderators.

If you are not sure what category to post in, or the right category hasn't been added yet, then please use the "Miscellaneous " category and we will create a category for your post if and when we deem it necessary.
